Jonas Brothers Promote Xbox 360

1. Jonas brothers Tweet So excited to be back in London, playing one of our favorite venues tonight.....Tweet us and let us know if you're coming!

2. New York Times The Jonas Brothers Promote Xbox 360
IT’S all in the family, Madison Avenue style: a product aimed at families is teaming up with a famous name in family entertainment for an elaborate effort fronted by one of the biggest family acts in music.
The Xbox 360 gaming system, sold by the Microsoft Corporation, is being endorsed by the Jonas Brothers rock band in a campaign that appears in properties owned by the brothers’ media partner, the Walt Disney Company. Xbox 360 joins a short list of brands to be promoted by the Jonases, whose music appeals to the teenagers, preteenagers and mothers composing the target audience for the gaming system.

The multimillion-dollar campaign, created internally at Disney, is part of a larger initiative for Xbox 360 that carries the theme “It’s more fun time,” which is created by T.A.G. in San Francisco, part of the McCann Worldgroup division of the Interpublic Group of Companies.

The Jonas-centric ads are being introduced along with work from T.A.G. like commercials and video clips featuring the actress Jane Lynch of the hit Fox series “Glee,” which are on television and online.

The Jonas campaign is also on television and online, as well as in print and on radio. It is timed to reach consumers just as they are thinking about what, if anything, they are going to buy during the coming holiday shopping season.

“We’re optimistic for the holidays,” said Robert Matthews, senior director of global marketing communications for the interactive enterprise business at Microsoft in Redmond, Wash.

“Interactive entertainment tends to be a little more recession-resistant,” Mr. Matthews said, “and we’re certainly doing what we can to drive value for consumers.”

Among those steps are a sale on the premium version of the game console, the Xbox 360 Elite, bundled with two games, for the same $299 price as the console typically costs alone, and an emphasis on the Xbox Live service, which enables users to play games, listen to music, watch movies and patronize Web services like Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter.

(Microsoft is seeking to stimulate preholiday sales for the Windows 7 operating system as well as Xbox 360.)

Among the aspects of the Jonas campaign is an opportunity to watch on Xbox Live a free episode of “Jonas,” the brothers’ sitcom on the Disney Channel, with “a custom opening” segment produced with the brothers, said Tricia Wilber, executive vice president at the Disney media sales and marketing group in New York.

The group oversees the company’s “kids- and mom-focused media,” Ms. Wilber said, including the Disney Channel and the Disney XD cable channels, disney.com, disneyfamily.com, Disney Family Fun magazine and Radio Disney.

Many of those media are taking part in the Jonas campaign. For instance, visitors to disney.com/morefuntime can learn about a sweepstakes with the grand prize being a chance “to hang out” with the Jonases and “experience Xbox 360 together.”

A commercial shows the brothers — Joe, Kevin and Nick — sharing a game console with visitors to their green room backstage. The plot is apparently, as they say in the movies, based on true events.

Xbox is “something they’ve grown up with,” Kevin Jonas Sr., a manager of the band, said of his sons during a telephone interview on Thursday.

“We’ve traveled with Xbox since the time it came out,” he added. “As long as it’s in their dressing room, we’re all good.”

That was corroborated by Kevin and Nick, who joined Mr. Jonas for the interview. The brothers have “a road case with the Xbox built right in,” Kevin Jonas said. It accompanies them on tour.

Mr. Jonas said he and his sons accepted the endorsement deal from Microsoft because they “want reliable, family-friendly brands we can associate with.”

“The boys have been approached by so many companies; so many possibilities of doing commercials and endorsements,” he added. “We do say no every day.”

Among those to whom they have said yes are Verizon Communications, a sponsor of the band’s tours, and Burger King; the brothers appear in ads for a single menu item, apple fries, rather than the entire menu.

Nick is diabetic, Mr. Jonas explained, so “we make healthy choices, or represent healthy choices.”

Nick Jonas also appears solo in ads for the Contour blood glucose monitor sold by Bayer HealthCare and takes part in a campaign meant to help fight juvenile diabetes (nickssimplewins.com).

The family “absolutely gets involved with all” marketing partners, Mr. Jonas said, including creative approval of ads, which are screened by Mr. Jonas and the band’s other managers “and then we run it by the boys.”

Microsoft did some screening of its own to make sure the campaign was not an example of play for pay.

“Yes, the Jonas Brothers, like any teenage and young adult folks, enjoy video games and enjoy Xbox 360,” Mr. Matthews said. “It’s great when you can leverage experience with the brand that exists naturally.”

As for concerns that the popularity of the endorsers could overwhelm the product being endorsed, Mr. Matthews said: “At the end of the day, Xbox as a brand is an incredibly strong brand, with loyalty across all age groups. You’ve got two strong brands coming together. Certainly, there’s no fear one overshadows the other in any way.”

Make that three brands, counting Disney. Interestingly, Disney has ties to the Microsoft rival, Apple, through its chief executive, Steven P. Jobs, who serves on the Disney board. The battle between Apple and Microsoft may be the 21st-century version of the cola wars.

“We are not Apple,” Ms. Wilber said. “For us, this is an opportunity to partner with someone targeted to our audience.”

Mr. Matthews echoed that. Disney has “access to the audiences we’re going after,” he said, and “we have products relevant to those audiences.”

3. Journal Live Review: Jonas Brothers, Metro Radio Arena
EVEN before the music kicks in to signify the trio’s arrival to the stage, the screams are deafening. Any tiny twitch of movement from the door leading backstage is causing thousands of teenage girls to hyperventilate.

As the lights dim the impossible happens – the shrieking gets louder and then louder still as the music begins.

By the time Kevin, Nick and Joe – the Jonas Brothers – rise up on a platform of glory through the middle of the stage, full-on mayhem has ensued.

They launch into the first number of their trademark pop-rock style and, as cheeky front man Joe announces, the party begins.

What follows is about 90 minutes of tunes and banter from the New Jersey natives who launched their career on the Disney Channel after starring in hugely popular teen-movie Camp Rock in summer 2008.

Memorable moments include when a young fan is plucked from the audience by the boys and asked to help them sing a wailing ballad. She does so beaming in disbelief as thousands of other girls look on with green eyes.

Another time the boys take the Santa-hats brought for them by fans and wear them during the next song - no doubt a story that will be repeated to friends for months to come.

As well as tracks from all four albums the boys energetically perform their cover of Busted’s Year 3000 and Black Eyed Peas’ I’ve Got a Feeling which both go down a treat.

Throughout the performance, multi- instrumentalists of the group Kevin and Nick play guitar and piano, for the most part leaving it to charismatic Joe to play up to the fans by waving and blowing kisses.

All three are suitably impressive but even if the music couldn’t be heard over the screaming, this was always about the boys themselves. Thousand of girls wanted to see the good old-fashioned charm they are loved for - and they weren’t disappointed.

4. Metro Kevin Jonas on Camp Rock sequel
Kevin and Nick Jonas may have played second and third fiddle to brother Joe in Camp Rock but we'll be seeing more of them in the sequel.
Kevin revealed that he and Nick have bigger storylines in Camp Rock: The Final Jam, the follow up to 2008's Disney Channel film.

The eldest of the Jonas Brothers said: "Nick and I have bigger pieces to do in this movie, we have individual storylines, which makes it very cool and there's different love interests."

He continued: "I work with the junior rockers who are the newest members of the camp and I've got to make sure they feel comfortable - and it's a lot to handle but it works out in our favour."

The all-singing, all-dancing TV movie will also see Demi Lovato return to the role of Mitchie. It is due to be broadcast next year.

The Jonas Brothers have been in the UK this week, where they hosted a special music lesson for 200 school children. The event was part of the government's Tune In - Year Of Music campaign which aims to inspire young musicians.

7. Concert Review The Jonas Brothers @ Birmingham LG Arena - 17th November 2009

The Jonas Brothers.. Stars of two Disney TV shows (JONAS and Jonas Brothers :Living The Dream), two number one albums, two covers of Rolling Stone magazine and, as well as all of that, The Jonas Brothers have stared in hit movie Camp Rock (with Camp Rock2 in the pipe line). All of which we were reminded of by band during the almost sold out show at the LG Arena.

This being my first experience of the brothers I didn’t really know what to expect. The few people I have asked about the Jonas Brothers have all said they’re like Busted/The Monkees and other stereotypical boy bands and, like all the other,s that the kids love them - well maybe apart from the Monkees.

As the house lights dimmed the already excited crowd began to chat “Jonas Jonas”, so loud in fact it was drowning out the venues P.A system, then on came the lights and up from the middle of the stage rose the Jonas Brothers, and from the sides of the stage came the backing musicians that included 2 violinists and a 4 piece brass section and, in what seemed like no time at all, the Jonas Brothers sped though the first 5 songs.

To my surprise, live they are a very solid, with great stage presence, and, shock horror, unlike most other boy bands (Westlife, Boyzone) they play their own instruments, and very well they play them too! This was demonstrated by Nick Jonas who, after the supporting musicians and his brothers left the stage, sat behind a beautiful white piano that has rose from the centre of the revolving stage to play a heartfelt version of “A Little Bit Longer”.

During the song Nick took time out to explain he wrote the song after he found out he had type 1 diabetes and it was 4yrs ago yesterday that he found out about his diabetes. It was also at this point Nick mentioned their two no1 CD’s, hit movie etc.. and the fact they had recently met the president and he said he “hadn’t let let his diabetes slow him down and the fans shouldn’t let anything slow them down”. He then finished the rest of the song and got a standing ovation that lasted for well over a minute. As Nick was rejoined by Kevin and Joe, Nick looked like he was trying not to cry after the great response to his solo song.

Before he could get too lost in the moment the band blasted into a version of Busted’s “Year 3000”, this being the first of three cover versions, the others being Black Eye Peas’ “I Got a Feeling” and then Joe Jonas said “We’re having so much fun today after visiting Warwick Castle and playing to one of the best crowds on this tour we would like to play a song by one of out favourite artists. This is the first time we have played this on the whole tour” - a cover of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”. Maybe they did that as a song for the parents in the audience as the average age in the crowd couldn’t have been much more than 12-14.

One of the other crowd-pleasing moments was when Joe asked for a young girl to come up on stage and sing with him, nervously the little girl who looked no older than 5/6 joined him on stage and after a few words in her ear from Joe the girl sang the chorus with 10,000 strong crowd backing her.

The Jonas Brothers play for a solid 1hr 30mins before leaving briefly to come back for a 2-song encore that included “World War 3”.

My final thoughts on my first experience of the Jonas Brothers - They’re not your average boy band. Yes at times they can be a little cheesy, but their music live is much more rock with bits of jazz and country throw in for good measure, and they take more influence from bands like Dashboard Confessional and Bon Jovi than they do from traditional boys bands.

Personally I would much rather the younger generation follow bands like the Jonas Brothers and Mcfly than JLS and Boyzone etc.. as they are passing on the torch of rock and guitar music to many. Judging by the age of some of the crowd, this would probably have been there first live show, let alone ROCK show, and I’m sure after that gig there will be more than a few letters asking to Santa asking for guitars and that’s not a bad thing.

Joe Jonas is all shook up about Shakespeare

1. Coventry Telegraph Jonas Brother visits Stratford's RSC
JONAS Brothers pop star Joe Jonas is all shook up about Shakespeare.

He paid a visit to the Bards hometown this week to pick up some acting tips from staff at the world famous Royal Shakespeare Company .

Joe, left, one third of the well-known American pop rock boy band The Jonas Brothers, was appearing in concert at the NEC's LG Arenas on Tuesday and took time out from the UK tour to visit Stratford.

He also filmed a special segment for the second series of the Disney Channel series Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream.

Joe spent time in Stratford with RSC actor Sam Alexander, who plays Sebastian in the RSC's current production of Twelfth Night.

Joe made it back in time to the NEC for the bands sell-out concert and his Stratford visit is expected to be shown on TV next year.

The 20-year-old singer and musician has guest starred with his brothers in the past on Hannah Montana and filmed movie Camp Rock.

Their reality series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, premiered on Disney Channel earlier this year.

2. ChronicleLive Ryton Comprehensive pupils get music lesson from the Jonas Brothers

PUPILS on Tyneside were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime music lesson when an American pop band dropped into their classroom.

The Jonas Brothers, who have sold more than eight millions albums worldwide, paid a surprise visit to thrilled students at Ryton Comprehensive in Gateshead yesterday.

The brothers - Kevin, Nick and Joe - led 200 pupils in a music masterclass and taught them tips on how to play guitar. The visit formed part of the Department for Children, Schools and Families’ (DCSF) campaign, Tune In – Year of Music.

The DCSF has joined forces with the Disney Channel, the home of the band’s hit series Jonas, to launch Back to School, a series of classes hosted by music experts from across the globe.

The aim is to get children and young people involved in music, from learning how to play an instrument to how to write a song.

After the masterclass, the brothers chatted to the pupils about what inspires them and answered their many questions.

Kevin Jonas said: “Music has been a part of our lives from an early age and our inspirations include Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5. “I think it’s really important for young people to learn music and enjoy it. It’s a great release.”

He added: “The North East is really beautiful and we’d like to see a lot more of it. Even the wet weather hasn’t spoilt it.”

The visit had been kept a secret from the Year 7 pupils, aged 11 and 12, who were overwhelmed when the brothers arrived.

A handful of lucky youngsters were invited to join the band on stage to accompany them by playing guitar and tambourines.

Reece Rogerson, 11, on guitar, said: “I was nervous at first, but really enjoyed it.

“They seem like really nice guys. I like The Jonas Brothers, but my favourite band is Metallica.”

Holly Davison, 12, who is learning to play the drums, said: “I was so nervous on stage, I was shaking.

“It was a great surprise to have them at our school.”

Harry Leck, 12, added: “They were really cool. I am pleased I was picked to go on stage with them.”

Headteacher Steve Williamson said: “We are very proud to have the Jonas Brothers come to our school.

“Ryton runs a number of extra-curricular music activities and I hope that the Jonas Brothers coming to the school will inspire more children to get involved in music and take up a musical instrument.”

As well as having a hit TV series, The Jonas Brothers also appeared in the popular teen movie, Camp Rock.

Boel Ferguson, general manager for Disney Channels UK, added: “The success of Disney Channel’s music-led properties like High School Musical, Hannah Montana and now Jonas is a testament to the way that young people connect with music.

“We’re always looking for ways to inspire them to get involved and Kevin, Joe and Nick’s Back to School visit is the first in a series of Disney Channel initiatives to support Tune In over the next year.”

New Delhi, Nov 18 (PTI) Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the US boy band 'The Jonas Brothers', who juggles between music and acting, says he works best under pressure.

The 22-year-old pop star features in the hit TV sitcom 'JONAS', which is based on the the life of the brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin and their band.

The show will premiere on Disney Channel in India on November 30.

The 22-year-old rocker said he would memorize his lines just before going on the sets to film it.

"I look at my lines, typically, before I walk to the set to film it. Not everybody does that, but I do. I became really good at memorising my lines quickly and under pressure. I think being under pressure helps me," Kevin told PTI in an email interview.

The young star insists that this unpreparedness goes well with his onscreen character.

15. The Jonas Brothers visit El Hormiguero

To say that the passage of the Jonas Brothers for the program The Ant has been a revolution, it would become very, very short. Probably more of a fan of which were in the audience has been on the verge of a collapse in more than one occasion, judging by the shouting prevailing along the entire program.

First of all, I would point out that someone should tell Pablo Motos that it is high time we paid some clasecillas English, because although that rule as it seems to him the name of your guests have some grace, not capable or reading the title of an album I find something almost unforgivable.

Start the interview with what most worries the fans at the moment: the rumors of separation from the group, following the solo project of Nick, but they are reassuring and Nick says, "It's just a project that I will carry on alone, and that excites me a lot, but I will not separate. " Menos mal. Thank goodness.

They joke about how important it is to have its own security team, as recently in a hotel, a fan went so far as to knock Nick's room. But for those duties have a bodyguard half his height and weight tripled Pablo Motos. Adding this detail because only the weight of the height is not impressive. It is easy to measure twice Pablo Motos.

They talk about the video of Joe imitating Beyonce, and proposes that the next singer is Shakira imitation and duet with Paul. I did not tell me I lose it. Si llega a ocurrir prometo grabarlo y ponéroslo enseguida. If it does happen immediately promised to record and ponéroslo. Palabra de honor. Word of honor.

Jonas counted their experience in Casablanca where, besides playing, they were asked to hide in a room for daughters of Obama, who played the darkness keep a surprise. Bueno, más que sorpresa, sorpresón. Well, more than surprise, sorpresón. Think you have what it might look under your bed and you meet the Jonas Brothers. I do not know why, but to me it makes me think of the urban legend of Ricky Martin and the chocolate spread ...

Nick noted that he felt very small next to Obama, which is high, adding: "It's my dream to become president someday. Quizá en 2040″ . Además, Nick ha tenido la oportunidad en el programa de conocer a un chico que podría ser casi su hermano gemelo, de lo mucho que se parecen. Tenemos un “Jonas Brother español” y ni lo sabíamos. Maybe in 2040. "In addition, Nick has had the opportunity in the program to meet a guy who could almost be his twin brother, how much they look alike. We have a" Spanish Jonas Brother "and neither knew it. En la galería de fotos puedes echarle un vistazo si no me crees. In this gallery you can have a look if you dont believe me.

I could not pass an interview with the talk about Kevin's recent commitment, so the singer has again given us details about how he asked to marry his girl, prompting sighs of love to all present: "It's a girl wonderful, I am madly in love with her. Me puse de rodillas y le dije, te quiero, quiero pasar el resto de mi vida contigo, ¿te casas conmigo?” . Y luego nos enseñó las cosas raras que puede hacer gracias a su pulgar excesivamente flexible, el cual retuerce como un puñado de espaguetis. I kneeled down and said, I love you, want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me? ". And then he taught us the strange things you can do with its thumb too flexible, which wriggles like a handful spaghetti. Sure his bride will become mad skills such ...

Trancas y Barrancas, alluding that Joe is "registered nurse", proposed a game that was called "Brothers Llorona," and that was to find out what they would do some videos babies fun. The truth is that Joe was right all the questions, and almost needed no help at all.

Since when were the last time in the program, sang the 'Porompompero' and the videos were seen around the world, this time Paul made them sing 'I Fly', Shrimp, and I was very surprised to see that Joe did not gives bad Spanish. Seguro que ha estado esta tarde practicando. Sure you've been practicing this afternoon.

And as the Jonas are so successful, have grabbed all the time the program without having to dance or do any of the nonsense that make them the guests do normally, although they have had to suffer a little while to Flippy sausage in a strange suit lycra pink, and urging them to experience what chewing gum is manufactured.

Jonas Brothers will visit Ryton Comprehensive School in Gateshead

1. BBC News Jonas Brothers to visit UK school
US boy band The Jonas Brothers are to host a special music lesson for 200 pupils at a Tyneside school.

Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas will visit Ryton Comprehensive School in Gateshead later to pass on tips on learning guitar and song arranging.

The visit is part of the government's Tune In - Year of Music campaign which aims to inspire young musicians.

The three brothers said they were excited to be given the chance to share their "passion" for the subject.

Kevin Jonas said: "We hope to inspire kids to pick up an instrument if they have never done so before or to practice more if they already know how to play."

The clean-cut band, which has so far failed to break into the UK top 10 singles chart, has attracted a large teenage following by staring in Disney films such as Camp Rock.

Steve Williamson, head teacher at the school, said "We are very proud to have The Jonas Brothers come to our school today.

"Ryton runs a number of extra-curricular music activities and I hope that The Jonas Brothers coming to the school will inspire more children to get involved in music."

The group is set to play at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena following the visit.

3. MTV.com Nick Jonas To Perform With New Band At Grammy Nominations Concert
At last year's Grammy Nominations Concert Live, Nick Jonas performed with his brothers, Joe and Kevin. But at this year's concert, Nick will be going rogue and playing with his new band and side project, Nick Jonas and the Administration

Nick, whose nickname is Mr. President, will be introduced by his older brothers when he takes the stage on December 2 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Other performers include the Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and Sugarland. LL Cool J will host the big show, which will be broadcast live on CBS.

In addition to the performances, the Grammy Nominations Concert Live will announce nominations for several of the categories for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, as well as acts that will perform at the big show on January 31, 2010. It has already been announced that Lady Gaga will be ineligible for a best new artist nomination due to her best dance recording nomination last year.

The Jonas Brothers were up for a Grammy last year, but lost the Best New Artist statue to Adele. Nick caused quite a stir when he first announced he was working on a side project, but the band assured fans they weren't breaking up.

"We are so proud of our brother Nick," Kevin and Joe said in October. "We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. They are amazing works of art from an amazing talent ... our brother. We will see you later this year, next year and hopefully for the rest of our lives."

A snippet of a song by Nick Jonas and the Administration, "Who I Am," was recently leaked online and is expected to be released on December 3.

Joe and Demi play boyfriend and girlfriend in forthcoming film Camp Rock 2, but Kev insists the romance is only on screen.

"There's rumours going around but I can assure you there's nothing there - but in the film the love story between Mitchie and Shane continues for sure," he said.

Kevin's romantic life is looking good however, as he is set to marry sweetheart Danielle.

His brothers Nick and Joe are organising his stag do but Kevin says he's not worried about what they might plan.

He said: "I have no information about that because I'm not the one in charge. I'm not worried about it - it will all be good fun. I'm very happy to be engaged and to be getting married."

The brothers are touring the UK at the moment and took some time out to give British school children a special music lesson.

The trio completed a masterclass and sang acoustic renditions of Lovebug and SOS to 200 very excited students, including one girl who was so excited she cried all the way through the performance.

Kevin said being able to speak to people who are interested in music and who want to learn was a "great experience".

The Disney star added: "We went to school for a certain time then had to be home-schooled to fit in with what we did so it's nice to be back."

11. Jonas Bothers return to 'The Ant'
The trio will face questions from Pablo Motos.
A year ago and visited their program where they learned to sing the 'Porompompero' patter and a few words in Spanish.
That broadcast broke the record audience of space.

Apparently the Jonas Brothers-that is, one of two teenage phenomena when the Disney factory, the other is Miley Cyrus-passed it as nice a year ago when they visited the set of El Hormiguero (Cuatro, 21.30) . At least, have understood the program makers that have announced on his blog Thursday that the band formed by brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin will face questions from Pablo Motos and the cheers of Trancas and Barrancas. Also their tests.

While the page warns that young people come in order to promote his new album, Vines and Trying Times, is likely to fail to get rid of any embarrassing as having to dance or participate in a contest of words in Spanish, as they have suggested by some in the forum on the web.

Viewers have also proposed query, for the components of the band, including who is her favorite brother, what years were his first girlfriend, or if you prefer for a relationship to Cyrus or Selena Gomez.

Probably the famous brothers willingly give to the evidence, on his first visit to space did so, not without some difficulty singing the song Porompompero. Questions ... is another matter. As pointed Motorbikes then inquired for his 'purity rings', which reveal their intention to remain virgins until marriage, "we come here to talk about music.

14. WALB-TV Make-A-Wish sends girl to LA to meet Jonas Brothers
Her one wish in life is simple. She wants to meet the Jonas Brothers. Wednesday night she got a call from the Make-A-Wish foundation telling her that dream is about to come true.

We all have celebrity crushes, at least I know I do. But 17-year-old Sandy McLendon has three.

"It says sweet dreams Sandy, love always Joe Jonas." Sandy McLendon is describing her favorite pillow case. Yes, this teenager is a Jonas Brothers Fanatic.

"I've counted my pictures, I have 41 in all," she said. She loves all three. But says it's Joe that has her heart. She can even tell you his birthday on demand.

On December 12th Sandy and her best friend Kim will fly to Los Angeles to see the brothers in concert. They'll even get to meet the cuties. The Make-A-Wish Foundation called Wednesday night and told her the exciting news.

"We both just sat on the phone screaming for hours," she said.

If anyone deserves this, it's Sandy. She has spina bifida. She was born with her spine exposed.

"I can't feel my legs, I can't walk, and I'm paralyzed from the waist down," she said.

But Sandy never let her disabilities get her down. At 17 she can do almost everything on her own. She's even going to college next year.

"She's a big inspiration, she's full of life, she never gives up," said her friend Kim Tabb. BFFs, ready to embark on an trip they'll never forget.

"To be able to do this with her is heart warming," said Tabb.

"I didn't sleep last night at all," said McLendon. Why sleep? When your dreams are now a reality.

15. 3News Jonas Brothers give music lesson at UK school
Disney favourites the Jonas Brothers are spreading their love of music.
The teen trio, who are currently touring Europe, made a surprise visit to Ryton Comprehensive School in Gateshead, UK, to teach students about the importance of music.

"We're here today to talk to the students here at this wonderful school, just about the importance of music, the importance of getting involved with music if you can, our love of music, and what we've learned in our experiences so far. And hopefully we'll give them some insight into what it's like to be a musician and an artist," said Nick Jonas.

The music session was part of the Department for Children, Schools and Families' campaign, Tune In - Year of Music. The campaign is partnered with the Disney Channel.

During a special music class taught by the Jonas', students learned how to play the guitar, put together a song and basic music techniques.

The brothers also shared their own experiences on being in a band and took questions from fans before treating them to a special performance.

Tune In - Year of Music is a nationwide government initiative to promote music in UK schools.

"Music is not just something that's done as a hobby it's proven to have a real impact on the way people learn and on the development of their brain," explained Steve Williamson, Head Teacher at Ryton Comprehensive School. "In Gateshead about 4,000 people learn a musical instrument, but very often students give up at secondary level as things get busy as academic pressures come in and we think it's important to keep that balance going throughout their lives."
