Time For Me to Fly

I'm not sure how to start this. I've had this site for over five and a half years longer if you were with me during the myspace days. But I have come to a point in my life where I feel that is it time for me to move on (Ha no pun intended.) I will continue to be a Jonas fan and support the boys in every thing they do. Whether it be together or individually. As we say once a Jonas fan, always a Jonas fan.

Like I said before I feel like it's time for me to move on from this site and my other site Kevin Jonas Central.

I will leave the sites open. However I will not be updating them any more. I know people would like to take over for me. And I have considered it.  But it boils down to me being too selfish. The truth is I have done it by myself the whole time. And I can't stand the thought of someone else running JB Move On Fansite or Kevin Jonas Central.

Thanks you to all the readers over the years. I love you all!

Now I leave you with the song that made me fall in love with the Jonas Brothers 8 years ago.

I do have a personal twitter @Angela__l if you would ever like to get in contact with me.

Joe Jonas’ Journey from Kenya to the We Day Stage

Joe Jonas’ Journey from Kenya to the We Day Stage

Joe Jonas made a splash on the Toronto and Minnesota We Day stages where he not only performed to thousands of adoring fans, but took a special moment to share a story very close to his heart.
“Y’know I want to tell you about an awesome experience I had,” Joe called out to an energetic crowd after performing with his brothers Kevin and Nick. “This summer I travelled to Kenya.”

This past summer, Joe Jonas, part of Grammy nominated, multi-platinum trio the Jonas Brothers, spent a “jam-packed” week on a Me to We volunteer trip to Kenya. Travelling deep into the rural Maasai Mara, Joe was able to explore the history and culture of Maasai communities and experience the challenges that community members face every day.

In the middle of the expansive savannah, sporadically dotted with acacia trees, Joe soaked in local scenery and culture with traditional activities like joining beading circles with Maasai Mamas, travelling on a sunset safari and brushing up on his Swahili.

Working alongside community members, Joe got his hands dirty and helped build school rooms for the local children in support of Me to We’s charity partner Free The Children.  He also took time to visit local schools where he took part in activities like singing and dancing with students. He was especially impressed with a group of female students that wanted to stay at school late to learn more. “I could never sit in class that long but these kids didn’t want to leave!” says Joe.

Inspired by their dedication, Joe decided on a goal to raise $20,000 for school building projects in Kenya. He even called out to his fans for support in a tweet:  “I loved my trip to Kenya with Free The Children this summer. Now help me build 2 schools for them.”

This trip had such a positive impact on both Joe, and the communities he visited—he definitely has some new fans in Kenya! After he returned home, Joe told us, “I’ve never been to Kenya before. Experiencing it for the first time with Me to We and Free The Children provided me with a new perspective. I was able to see first-hand the value and role education plays in the lives of children.”
Concluding his We Day speech, Joe reflects on his experience in Kenya: “…and I got to be a tiny part of that. It’s the best feeling in the world.”

Why Joe Jonas Waited to Address Drug Rumors

ABC News Why Joe Jonas Waited to Address Drug Rumors

When the Jonas Brothers canceled their tour earlier this month, a rep for the band said it was because of a "creative rift." But gossip sites had a different take: Joe Jonas, 24, was on drugs.
"Usually right away, I'll kill a rumor," Jonas, 24, told ABC News. "But because we were kind of figuring out what was going on with us as brothers first, we kept kind of mum about the whole drug thing."

However, this week, the band announced that they were calling it quits, and the middle brother officially cleared up the rumors once and for all.

"Never had a problem with drugs and never done drugs," he said. "I'm good. ... Happy and healthy."

Though Jonas said "it was kind of humorous" for a while, once it was falsely reported that he was doing heroin and that his girlfriend, Blanda Eggenschwiler, was giving him drugs, he knew he had to say something.

"When it affects the people around you and they're pointing at family members [saying], 'How can they be dealing with this for so long?' and my girl, that's the stuff that gets to you," he said. "Luckily now, being able to just shut the door to it is nice."

"It's all false, every piece of it," he continued. "Random people [were] coming up to me on the street, hugging me, being like, 'Are you OK?' I'm like, 'Do you know something I don't?!'"

Throughout it all, Jonas said that his brothers Kevin, 25, and Nick, 21, were supportive.
"We're always protective of each other," he said. "I think the craziest thing is getting texts from friends and stuff because I was so quiet about it."

Now, he's looking forward to the next chapter, which will include more music and hopefully some acting, he said.

"I've done it before and there were so many cooks in the kitchen and I really want to make this project my own," he said, adding that he hopes to do something that combines his love of hip-hop, pop and alternative music."We're all really excited for each other and to have an opportunity and time to do something that I haven't been able to do in a long time."

"There were tears and yelling from everybody," admits Nick

People Magazine The Jonas Brothers Break-Up: A Sort of Shut-Off Happened

When the moment came to break up the Jonas Brothers on Oct. 3, Nick Jonas tells PEOPLE that he went "into a bit of trance."

"You prep a million ways," says Nick, 21. But once he admitted to his brothers how he felt, that he wasn't sure the band could continue as it was, "there was sort of a shut-off that happened. It took some time, about 24 hours or so, before we could really talk about it."

On Tuesday came the exclusive announcement to PEOPLE that, as a professional music team, the sibling trio are "over for now."

At first, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25, said they were shocked by what went down.

"Kevin and I thought we were going into a meeting about releasing some of the music we'd been working on," says Joe. Instead, Nick told them he was considering calling it quits.

Joe says he didn't say much at first, but Kevin and Nick talked late into the night. By the next morning, the brothers began to speak openly, in a way they never had before.

"There were tears and yelling from everybody," admits Nick.

But, adds Kevin, "It was the most real, the most intense conversation that we've had in our lives together."

Ultimately, the brothers decided, the best way to save their personal relationship was to break up the band. "Prioritizing our family is really important to us," says Nick.

"We're choosing our family because it was becoming toxic," says Kevin, who admits his relationship with his brothers was suffering, in part, because his focus was elsewhere.

"I wasn't contributing to the music the way I should have," says Kevin, who, admittedly, is more interested in the business side of things.

Nick Jonas Interview with Chicago’s B96

Nick Jonas Opens Up About The Jonas Brothers Break Up, Promises To Be At Chicago’s B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash In December

Listen to the interview here!

Fresh off their appearance on Good Morning America where they announced the big break up, Nick Jonas joined The J Show to let listeners know that there will be a Jonas presence at the B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash.  Hear him explain why they broke up and what’s next for the Jonas Brothers. He also answers fan questions live.

Nick opened up about the whole break-up. “We can say at this moment that the Jonas Brothers; that chapter has closed, and that is done. We are all looking forward to continuing on in our own way in our own career paths, but as far as the show (B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash) goes coming up here in December, we’re going to find a way to have a Jonas there in some way, and hopefully two,” Nick said. We are going to see you guys, and we wanted to make sure we told you that and the fans in Chicago, and thanks for the support through all this.

Many fans want to know what really happened, so Nick explained the process that led up to this decision. “It was a long process, and to sum it up in this last month when we did all this wouldn’t do it justice because I think it’s a lot bigger timeline. Basically I just came to my brothers and said, ‘Look, I’d love to have a conversation we need to have with you guys where we just talk about where things are at and get really honest and real with each other. I laid out some of the concerns I had about the group, you know, and said ‘I feel like if we continue on this path with these issues, it’s going to be very difficult to continue for all of us.’”

Nick continued, “It was tough to swallow at first for everybody. I think it was a very heavy conversation. Then after a few days of working through some stuff and talking more about it, we all did see that there were a lot of issues in the group and things that need to be addressed and came to a decision that we had been functioning as individuals within this group for a long time, and that it was time to close that chapter.”

When it comes to the fans all over the world, Nick knows that this news is tough. “We know that this is a real tough thing, and how disappointing it is for a lot of people. We are very aware of that,” he explained.
Some Chicago fans called in to ask Nick questions:

Q: What are you guys going to miss most about touring together?
A: “The thing we will miss most about touring together is probably playing the songs we wrote together. That’s one thing we always loved. The fact that we created our own music and were able to get on the stage and play those songs we wrote probably in a bedroom somewhere, or a studio, wherever it was, for people who sang along with us. That feeling is unlike any other in the world.”

Q: What’s going to happen to the album V?
A: “We’ve decided that we want to do something special for our fans because they’ve been so supportive of us for so many years. What we’ve decided to do is package an album with 10 live tracks from the summer tour and four of the songs that would have been on V, and if you count ‘Pom Poms’ and ‘First Time,’ it’s actually 6 songs that would have been on V. We’ll be sending that out soon for the fans.”

Jonas fans, we’ll see you at the B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash on December 14th!

Joe Jonas Says of Drug Rumors: 'It's Ridiculous'

People Magazine Joe Jonas Says of Drug Rumors: 'It's Ridiculous'

After the Jonas Brothers abruptly canceled their tour three weeks ago – and went silent as they contemplated the band's future – reports surfaced suggesting that Joe Jonas had a drug problem.

Now the singer, 24, wishes to set the record straight, telling PEOPLE: "It's ridiculous!"

"We're not saying anything for two or three weeks and I'm a drug addict!"

What upset him even more is that his girlfriend, Blanda Eggenschwiler, was also dragged into the rumors.

"It's obviously not true. I've never touched heroin in my life. Neither has my girlfriend," he said. "It's hilarious to me, but also frustrating as well. It pissed me off when it's about my girl and even about myself."

At one point, he said, people even approached him personally about it.

"I was walking down the street and people are asking me if they can give me a hug and how rehab is," says Joe. "I'm like, 'You tell me because I've never been.' "

So why didn't he speak out right away to correct the impression?

After Nick Jonas, 21, first confessed to older brothers Joe and Kevin that he had concerns about the band – they then unanimously decided to call it quits – Joe says: "We all had to deal with it in our own way. I needed time to clear my head."
Already, that is a thing of the past. Looking ahead, Joe says, "I'm genuinely excited."
